This is very sad to note that The Newspaper like Timesofindia has published news on 12th May, 10 on its frnot page with the headline Deoband Issued Fatwa against working women, without any verification from the Deoband.
News Agency IANS qouted Maulana Adnaa Munshi Spokeperson Darul Uloom Deoband Saharanpur UP denied issuing such a Fatwa and clareified that The fatwa was an answer to a working women when she asked whether she can work without Hijab and that too before a month. In answer to this question She was asked to dressed Modestly. (URDU TIIMES Mumbai, 13th May, 2010)
The situation further worsen when an Urdu Newspaper ON 13th May, 10 published the qoutations of Ulemas and activists AGAINST THIS MISQOUTED AND MALICIOUS FATWA without any verification.
